Magnesium hydroxide is an ultra-fine powder product characterized by an exceptionally uniform and narrow particle
size distribution. Recognized as a non-halogenated, environmentally friendly, and non-toxic mineral-based flame
retardant and smoke suppressant, it is widely used in various plastic and rubber applications.
With an initial decomposition temperature of 320°C, this product is suitable for applications where polymer processing
temperatures exceed 180°C – conditions that limit the use of aluminum trihydrate (ATH).
Due to its higher decomposition temperature compared to ATH, magnesium hydroxide functions as an effective smoke
suppressant when synergistically compounded with ATH.
